Dossier Criminal Systems and Human Dignity - V. 6, Issue 1
The challenges of criminal systems both in Europe and in America revealed a deep crisis into contemporary States, thereby, interdisciplinarity is highly esteemed to face this crisis. The nomineted issue welcome studies originating from the paradigms of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Philosophy, Sociology, Human Rights and all Humanities.
We point that Humanities and Rights Global Network Journal wants to open dialogues on various aspects of both the theoretical concepts of human rights, and their practical applicability as subjective rights in a wide range of national states and legal systems. In this context, for exemple, the issue of imprisionment - one of the most important topics of criminal systems - face a gap between the legal system and its application.
The Dossier Criminal Systems and Human Dignity going to be coordinate by reseach group from Facult of Law, Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais. The experts Prof. Guilherme COLEN, Prof. Flaviane BOLZAN DE MORAES and Prof. Claudio BRANDAO (Network's executive director) will be in charge of this first issue of 2024. The team invites scholars to submit papers between Aug 21th. and Dec 1st. 2023.
